So, I will likely change this section often because I am a fan of non-fiction. Today I will start with a favorite from Farley Mowat titled Never Cry Wolf. Mowat recalls his time in the Artic – two summers and a winter – when he lived among the majestic creatures he knew were not a threat as had been told by others. He kept his distance as he and the wolves learned from each other how best to share their space.
As a fan of non-fiction and life sciences, this book was perfect for me. I have suggested Never Cry Wolf to almost everyone, especially my children. Mowat is intelligent, funny, caring, and sarcastic … all characteristics I love in an author. I honestly could easily picture the surroundings and events because they were described so well. I definitely suggest reading this book.
